The tea has been found to be anti-inflammatory and anti-viral. It can strengthen the heart and circulatory system, enhance the immune system, and since it is a powerful antioxidant, it can also prevent cancer and slow down the aging process. Moreover, it has a calming effect and can help fight anxiety.

If it can do so much wonders to people, by extension it can also benefit our dogs. Since the tea is caffeine-free, it doesn't harm to give it to our dogs as well!

Like many pet parents, we may be reluctant to try something new. Nonetheless, Rooibos is caffeine free and low in tannin. It also has no oxalic acid. The good news is that it’s not costly and can be found at your local market. Because this tea can play a significant role in Fido’s fight against disease, it’s definitely worth looking into.

Rooibos contains plenty of minerals, calcium, copper, fluoride, iron, manganese, magnesium, potassium, sodium and zinc. It is also rich in minerals that are difficult to find-bioflavonoids and quercetin. This tea contains vitamin C and is plentiful in hydroxyl acids.(AHA)In addition to this, it packs in about 50% more antioxidants than green tea.

It is generally well tolerated by most dogs, and has been shown to have the following health benefits for dogs. Rooibos is an anti-allergenic tea and has properties that are allergy fighting. It is used to treat allergies and most skin related problems such as ‘hot spots’ in your dogs. It is also an anti-inflammatory and ant-mutagenic tea that promotes healthy circulation and good bone health in dogs. If your pooch suffers from an itch and has inflammation of the skin, Rooibos alleviates the discomfort and the inflammation.

Steeped Tea Matcha is only grown in Nishio, Japan under excellent conditions. Steeped Tea only uses suppliers that challenge the status quo in high standards of quality, food safety, and the disuse of pesticides, heavy metals and microbiology.

At Steeped Tea, we pride ourselves in selling the highest grade of Premium Matcha tea for everyday consumption. There is only one grade higher than Premium, and that is Ceremonial. Ceremonial grade is produced from the youngest tea leaves plucked from the tea plant. It is reserved for tea ceremonies in the finest tea houses in Japan and not recommended for everyday drinking. The price point is set extremely high due to the very small quantities produced. There is no recognized standard for the labeling of Ceremonial Matcha tea.

Other Matcha grades include Blending and Cooking grades. The lower the Matcha grade, the more bitter in taste and darker brown in color. Steeped Tea uses only Premium grade stone-ground Matcha which has the same flavor profile as Ceremonial Matcha, with no bitterness.

There is no nutritional difference between Ceremonial and Premium grade. In consuming Steeped Tea’s Matcha, you are receiving the same quality of nutrients, amino acids and antioxidants as Ceremonial grade.

Matcha A cancer-fighter, a fat-burner, and much more, matcha leaves other green teas far behind.

Every day, countless people throw away valuable antioxidants and minerals. While seemingly unimaginable, that's exactly what happens when you brew a cup of green tea because water can only extract a fraction of green teas benefits. The majority actually remains unused, trapped in the tea leaves. In reality, the only way to truly take advantage of green teas full potential is to consume the entire leaf. But that doesn't mean you need to start eating tea leaves.

The simplest solution is to just enjoy a bowl of matcha. Because matcha is straight, stoneground tea leaves, matcha provides you with green teas powerful arsenal of vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, and amino acids in a way no other green tea can. In fact, to even begin to match the potency found in a single serving of matcha, you would need to drink at least ten cups of brewed green tea. When it comes to helping you achieve and maintain optimum health, matcha is without equal.
